Meeting of the Research & Development Commission – CMAC

The Research & Development Commission of the Casablanca Mediation and Arbitration Centre (CMAC) met on March 3, 2026, at the Centre’s headquarters to examine Circular No. 02/26 issued by the Supreme Council of the Judicial Power, concerning the implementation of Article 13 of Law No. 15.38 on the organization of the judiciary.

The discussions highlighted the importance of this circular in promoting alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, particularly mediation, and its expected positive impact on the business climate.

Members emphasized the need to strengthen the training of mediators, encourage the involvement of legal professions, and promote the inclusion of CMAC mediation clauses in contracts and legal instruments.

They also recommended organizing awareness-raising initiatives aimed at stakeholders who play a key role in referring disputes to mediation.

In this context, it was decided to organize a roundtable on March 27, 2026, at the CMAC headquarters, dedicated to the role of institutional mediation in the implementation of Circular No. 02/26, bringing together key stakeholders from the judicial and legal community.
