CMAC Present at the International Conference on Investor-State Dispute Settlement Reform

On November 12, 2025, the Casablanca Mediation and Arbitration Center (CMAC) participated in the international conference organized by the Ministry of Justice, in partnership with UNCITRAL and Mohammed V University, dedicated to the reform of the investor-state dispute settlement system.

During the meeting, Ms. Anna Joubin-Bret (UNCITRAL) presented the progress of the reform process and emphasized the importance of a participatory approach.

Mr. Rachid Ouadifi (Ministry of Justice) announced Morocco’s initiative to host an Advisory Center for Investment-Related Disputes, aimed at providing a fairer and more cost-effective system, particularly for developing countries.

The event highlighted Morocco’s role and the necessity of adopting international standards to strengthen its position in global reforms of investment dispute resolution.
